Seth R. Harris
Seth R. Harris joined Hartley & McGehee LLP in March of 2007. Mr. Harris has practiced in the areas of civil litigation, including family law, real estate and employment law. He is a former law clerk of the Honorable Karen S.S. Ahn of the First Circuit Court for the State of Hawaii. Mr. Harris is also a member of the Family Law Section of the Hawaii State Bar Association.
Mr. Harris received A Bachelor of Science - Language Arts Degree in Japanese Language from Georgetown University in Washington D.C. in 1997 and his J.D. from the William S. Richardson School of Law, University of Hawaii, in 2001. In law school, he was a member of the Law Review and a founding member of the Asia Pacific Law & Policy Journal. Mr. Harris currently coaches the International Environmental Law Moot Court team.
Mr. Harris is also active in the practice of kendo (Japanese swordsmanship) and currently holds the rank of fifth degree black belt (5 Dan) in kendo and the rank of first degree black belt (1 Dan) in iaido.
